Sha-256

The Sha-256 algorithm is a “Cryptographic hash algorithms produce irreversible and unique hashes” (google). It is used when mining Bitcoin. I wanted to learn how it works to see if I could find a way to reverse the algorithm. If I could find a way to reverse the algorithm that means I could mine several Bitcoins per minute. This would make me a lot of money. I made the algorithm in Java Processing. It was pretty simple to make but the project has made me realize that it is probably impossible to reverse the algorithm. This seems obvious looking at the definition, “irreversible”.
